ICBPS Morning Brief– The American professional mixed martial artist, Bobby Green hit out the Islamic Republic of Iran for carrying out the execution of Navid Afkari.

 “I Thought Dana White was Gonna Save him”

Bobby Green: The thing with Navid. And it just fucked me up, ya know you really crushed me today. Somebody just lost their life today, ya know. Somebody lost their life today. I don’t know if that means much to ya’ll but that means a lot to me. That’s a part of our community. I’m a wrestler. That was a wrestling coach. He changed people’s lives and he just lost his life. Fuck it’s sad.

Reporter: I so wait. I … actually after the broadcast, I was going to ask, how much do you think that affected you in there? Just seeing that right before?

Bobby Green: I’m not going to lie it fucked me up. Man like fuck. I just can’t believe the dude lost his life for protesting. You know the same stuff we do over here. Like I thought Dana was going to save him. When Dana comes out and says something, ya know. I thought, Dana’s so big they’re going to save that kid. Like I didn’t even worry about it. And then you gonna shock me with that shit? Oh my God. Like fuck. That just fucked me up today, bro. I’m fucked up. 

Navid Afkari, the Iranian champion wrestler, was hanged at Shiraz Adel Abad prison, southern Iran on Sunday, for alleged participation in peaceful nationwide Iran Protests (2018).
