ICBPS Iran News Reports: IRGC Brig. Gen. Hejazi Poisoned With Radioactive Substance

ICBPS- Reports indicate that the top IRGC General was poisoned with an alleged highly radioactive substance.

Kuwaiti daily newspaper, Al-Jarida says the Brigadier General Mohammad Hejazi dies at 65 as a result of “biological assassination” with radioactive materials.

Quoting an Iranian source, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida reported on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, that Brig. Gen. Mohammad Hejazi had died of complications and infections from radioactive poisoning.

The newspaper wrote that he may have been exposed to these substances in Iraq or Syria.

The source, who is allegedly close to Hejazi, accused the Israelis and the U.S. were behind the incident, and said that he was in good health before his last trip to Iraq and Syria, about a month ago.

The source has explained that after returning to Iran, Hejazi, who served as deputy commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force, suffered from symptoms similar to “Covid19”.  Coronavirus antibody testing revealed that Hejazi suffered symptoms of the virus that he could not even leave his office and medical procedures did not work at the time.

The military specialists, however, said it was unlikely that Hejazi had been diagnosed with cancer, but he had died before undergoing any possible cancer test, according to the source.

Everyone initially thought that Hejazi had died of a heart attack or due to chemical effects from the Iran-Iraq war, but Iran’s Forensics Organization detected radioactive materials on his body and confirmed that he was (biologically) “assassinated.”

“The IRGC Brig. Gen Hejazi may had consumed food contaminated with radioactive substances.”

“The materials found on Hejazi’s body are identical to other cases that Russia has been accused of using against its dissidents.”

The majority of the IRGC high commands were in agreement that Israel was behind the incident and possibly used the type of poison associated with Russian assassination attempts so that suspicions would be turned against Moscow, the Iranian source added.

“The Islamic Republic’s General Staff of the Armed Forces asked commanders to keep silent on the issue. The IRGC has launched an investigation into the matter and ordered that all top commanders who recently traveled abroad undergo testing,” Al-Jarida said.

The New York Times also referred to the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh and an al-Qaeda commander in Tehran, as well as the Natanz explosions, and quoted Western intelligence sources said: “Hejazi’s death was not normal”.

IRGC Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ismail Kowsari told IRNA on Tuesday that spreading rumors about the biological assassination of Hejazi is an evil act of the enemies. They want to intimidate us, he added.

Top IRGC commanders, however, have never denied and repeatedly claimed “biological assassinations” may possible anytime, anywhere, and there are even been numerous news reported by state-run news agencies about the killing of IRGC forces in the same manner.
